“It was a sticky summers day in New York and “Only Built for Cuban Linx” was about to drop. Wu Tang was Killing it on the streets and in the clubs and I was an avid devotee since the first time I had heard “Method Man” on Canal Street in Chinatown. The fact that RZA sampled Thelonius Monk for two tracks on the album resonated deeply with me. When asked to shoot Rae & Ghost is only made sense to take it back to that same block where the Wu saga began for me and also where Ghostface and Raekwon frequented whenever they would shop for Cuban Linx. Raekwon and Ghost were both big hearted gentlemen..thugs on the computer. - Jamil GS “
