TWIN TOWER LOVE

€499.00

Deserving of a kiss.

New York City 20 years ago.

I think anyone who lived in New York 20 years ago has a special relationship with the Towers.

It was an iconic symbol of NY and to many a symbol of the greatness of the City. Either you loved what they stood for or you hated it. Rarely something in between.

Coming of age, one of my first jobs in the city was as a busboy at a restaurant in Battery Park. Everyday on my way to work, I would walk at the feet of the Towers and sometimes reflect back on the final scene of King Kong from the 70’s.

New York City is the most photogenic city in the world, and whereever I turned, the Twin Towers always had my back somewhere in the background.

In memoriam of the Towers as a symbol of a very special era and in memoriam of the lives lost and those affected, I have made this special edition prints available for the first time.

Proceeds will be shared with the charities Tuesdays Children and Tunnels for Towers Foundation.

The photo shown was created to help define the greatness of another icon in the making. “As part of the photo session, I asked Jay-Z to pose in front of someone else’s mega yacht and suggested that one day he would own one of these himself. He smiled and responded “no doubt.” and as prophecy was told - Jamil GS “
